GVP Reference Summary

The Ostanets shield volcano, considered to be Holocene by Masurenkov (1980), is located south of the Pleistocene Savan volcano surrounded by a large group of late-Pleistocene to Holocene cinder cones. Small pyroclastic cone groups also occur north and east of Igolki volcano, ~30 km SW of Savan. This was not included by Ponomareva et al. (2007) in their review of Holocene volcanoes in Kamchatka.
