GVP Reference Summary
Kell volcano is a small stratovolcano considered to be Holocene by Masurenkov (1980), located within the Prizrak caldera immediately north of Zheltovsky volcano. This remote volcanic complex consists of three partially nested 3-5 km wide calderas containing lava domes and several small stratovolcanoes, the largest of which is Kell. This was not included by Ponomareva et al. (2007) in their review of Holocene volcanoes in Kamchatka.
